A.Leaders is an invite-only micro-community at A.Team, which means that you need to be nominated to become a member.

Anyone can be invited to join a guild if they fulfill all the guild membership criteria.

Can I nominate myself or do I need to be nominated by someone else to become an A.Leader?
You need to be nominated by someone else to become an A.Leader. You can't nominate yourself.
Can I opt out of A.Intros? How?
Yes. After each new introduction, we’ll ask you if you want to continue with A.Intros. If you’re not happy with your match or don’t have the time to commit, you can opt out anytime by clicking ‘Leave Group’ in your A.Meet profile, here.
Can I still earn Build Token points for inviting builders even if they don't end up joining the network?
No, you will only earn Build Token points for referred builders who join the network and start working on a mission.
Can Selection Team members work on missions themselves or are they solely responsible for evaluating other builders?
Yes, the Selection Team work is on top of the work of your current mission.
Can you match me with a builder in my industry?
Yes. You can specify what kind of builders you’d like to meet when you fill out the matchmaking form. We’ll connect you with someone in your industry.
Do I receive benefits for inviting new builders to the A.Team network?
Yes, you can earn Build Token points for each talented friend you bring to A.Team. You can learn more here.
Do people I invite to the network get immediately accepted to A.Team?
No — everybody who requests to join A.Team, referred or not, goes through our screening and evaluation process. This is how we confirm every single builder who is part of A.Team suits the type of work we offer.
Does inviting more builders increase my chances of being proposed for teams first?
Yes, builders who are connected to each other and show shared interest in missions usually get proposed for teams faster. Bringing your network to A.Team will benefit you and our entire community.
How can I become a member of the Selection Team?
To be considered for the Selection Team, you can add your name to the waitlist. Keep in mind, we’re not actively accepting new members to the team right now — but we’ll reach out if and when it is relevant.

It’s a non-binding commitment, so you can leave anytime you’d like.

You can absolutely request to meet a veteran builder. They’d be happy to share their experience with mission requests, interviews, and tips to succeed at A.Team.
